Faster, cheaper, less disruptive — suitable for 95% of domestic situations. Full excavation is only needed where deeper foundations will be built (e.g. extension footings) or where every last root must be removed (e.g. bamboo, knotweed). It's significantly more expensive and disruptive — we offer it only when genuinely required. ### Underground Services & Stump Position Grinders cannot operate over electric, water, gas or telecoms cables — we always check service locations before grinding. Where stumps are within 1m of known services, we use hand-clearance methods instead.
