What is Site Clearance?
Site clearance is the umbrella service for stripping vegetation off a plot. Trees, hedges, scrub, brambles, ivy, self-seeded saplings — whatever's growing, we remove it, chip or take away the arisings, and hand back a clean site ready for groundworks, landscaping or sale.
We work for homeowners reclaiming neglected gardens, builders prepping plots for foundations, landlords clearing properties for sale, and commercial sites needing regular vegetation control. Each job comes with a tipper truck and chipper as standard so nothing's left behind.

Domestic vs Commercial Site Clearance
Domestic clearance is typically a one-off service — overgrown gardens, side returns, neglected hedges. We work tidily around live properties, protect remaining features and leave the site ready for landscaping or sale.
Commercial clearance covers development plots, brownfield sites, commercial perimeters and scheduled vegetation control on managed sites. We carry public liability for commercial work and provide RAMS, waste transfer notes and progress reporting as standard.
Knotweed, Giant Hogweed & Invasive Species
Some plants need specialist handling. Japanese knotweed cannot be moved off-site without a licensed waste contractor and herbicide programme. Giant hogweed sap causes severe burns. Himalayan balsam can be cleared mechanically but needs follow-up control. We identify all of these on initial survey and quote appropriate treatment.
Every job is covered by £5m Public Liability Insurance and carried out under method statements and risk assessments tailored to your site.
